The pictures are from his first-ever pilgrimage as a Pope to Germany during World Youth Day 2005 in Cologne, and of his pilgrimage to Poland 2006. The most important event during Pope's Polish pilgrimage was visit to German Nazi dath camp Auschwitz Birkenau.
