JUMP IN THE WATER

more from Casamance , Senegal

Saint-Louis, Senegal

Transdniester- a narrow strip of land sandwiched between Ukraine and Moldova broke away from the Soviet Union just before USSR collapsed, officialy it is part of Moldova but after bloody civil war in 1990 it proclaimed independence. Its self proclaimed independence is not recognized by any country in the world. Presently Transdniester is a living museum of life in USSR. It is also well known as a hotbed for international organized crime.

Again and again :-)

Two weeks ago, I wrote a post about one of my pictures appearing on Time online as a part of Healing Faith photo essay. Last week it was included in printed edition of Time magazine in photo essay about spiritual healing around the world (at least in European edition, I am not sure about USA and Asian editions).

This is a perfect example how a good story can get exposure over a longer period of time.
It was exhibited during “Act of faith” Noorderlicht photo festival, the Netherlands. One of the photos ended up on the cover of 300 pages exhibition catalogue.

and two more inside:

Then again, this year it was exhibited by photography foundation Profotografia in Poznan, Poland and Warsaw.

page from leaflet:

One of the photographs was accompanying an article about the show in Poznan in polish edition of Newsweek magazine.

In march this exhibition will be shown in Rybnik, during another photography festival.
The whole story can be seen HERE
And I hope it is not the end …

Sardinia off-season

It is always refreshing to have a look at a tourist destination off the season. Without all the crowds the only thing that is left is answer to the question: why so many people visit this particular place…
