Corporate assignment

Yesterday I have shot a corporate assignment for swedish company producing industrial oils.
After sending the images I have received this message:
"Hi,
Thank you!
Pictures are great! Also the editor is very satisfied!"
There is nothing that makes me very happy more then, when a costumer that hires me for the first time is also very happy :-)
First some preparation: two strobes for strobist style shooting
some wires, accus, two camera bodies (canon 5d mkII :-))))
3 lenses, tripod and a lightstand. NOTE: equipment image quality courtasy my mums sony point and shoot :-))

Moldova-Europe's forgotten country

It is really a shame that some countries attract attention only when something seriously is going wrong… This is exactly the case of Moldova. You can read about the latest riots in Chisinau (or Kischiniev) on BBC NEWS website here.

A lot of Moldovians work in EU in order to make ends meet. The trick is that they need a visa to travel to any European country... and to apply for a visa , they need first go to Bucarest, Romania... so they first need to get Romanian visa.
The pictures below were made in 2007 in front of Romanian embassy in Chisinau, Moldova. During shooting I was approached by a man who told me "take the pictures and make sure that we all look very poor, so they will have a mercy and give us visas to EU"

Yes, this is where the demand is: Fiat car factory in Tychy, Poland. I have sold this image 3 times during last two months, all the sales were made to British newspapers. On Monday, (hopefully) I am assigned to shoot nice and fat job in the same place again. This time the images will be for exclusive use.
