Ganesh festival celebration in Palolem, Goa state and Mumbai, India. Hindu god Ganesha, the elephant-headed son of Shiva and Parvati, is widely worshipped as the supreme god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune. This festival takes place in September and lasts for 10 days.
